Buying a car during COVID-19 has proved to be quite the interesting experience. So our team at Johnson City Toyota thought of a way to make shopping from home feel a bit more traditional. Introducing the all new at-home test drive from Johnson City Toyota!

Schedule your appointment and pick the time, date, and place that works best for YOU. -

Await your confirmation call or email from one our friendly team members to confirm the details of your appointment. -
Step 4
Take Your At Home Test Drive at the place and time you designated! It’s THAT easy.
Shopping from a computer has become the new normal for many of us because of COVID-19. And while shopping for something like shoes, electronics, or clothes is pretty simple, shopping for a car can be a bit more complicated. Not only is it a much bigger purchase, but not being able to physically try it out can be a real issue. Well, that’s all about to change!
Johnson City Toyota has introduced the at-home test drive, which is exactly what it sounds like. This program allows you to schedule a test drive for any new Toyota or used car you find in our inventory. However, instead of you coming to us, we come to you! One of our team members will be in touch with you to confirm the meeting details and then we’ll be over to drop off your car!
From there, you can take your desired car out for a spin around your initial area, on your commute to work, or anywhere else you want! Test driving a car is the best way to see how a car feels, handles, operates, and to see if there is anything wrong with it.
After you’re done, you can either keep it if you like it, send it back if you don't, or just hold onto it if you’re not sure. Sometimes one drive isn’t enough, so if you’re just not quite sure, we’ll let you hang onto the car overnight so you can mull it over. You can take it for another drive, take a look under the hood, whatever you need to make a proper decision.
This program is offered at no extra cost to you, and works for any car and everyone as long as you are within 20 miles of our Bristol Hwy location. This means if you’re anywhere in the Tri-Cities including Kingsport or Bristol, or anywhere else that’s 20 miles away from our Johnson City location, you can make use of this brand new program!
There is also no commitment assumed when you schedule one of these at-home test drives, so if you don’t like it, that’s totally okay. Plus, there’s also no limit to how many you can try out. So test drive as many cars as you like until you find one that you really like!
