Being a locally operated dealership, our community means the world to us. Because of this, our team makes a strong effort to support the Boys & Girls Club of Greenville & Greene County. The work this organization does for the youth population of our community is second to none and creates a lasting positive impact on our community. The Boys & Girls Club of Greenville & Greene County’s mission is “To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.” By teaching the youths of our community to reach their full potential, the Boys & Girls Club actively invests in the future of East Tennessee.
Daniel Johnson, of Johnson City Toyota, received the Community Support Award for the dealership at the Boys & Girls Club of Greeneville & Greene County Annual Dinner held on May 11, 2021 at Link Hills Country Club in Greeneville, TN. Johnson City Toyota, along with other Hudson Automotive dealerships, (Johnson City Ford, Honda Morristown and Honda Kingsport) have been avid supporters of Boys & Girls Clubs throughout East Tennessee for several years.

That same night, Daniel Johnson also received the Fundraising Award for the Boys & Girls Club of Greeneville & Greene County. Daniel & His wife, Vicky, have been strong supporters of the Boys & Girls Club, with Daniel serving on the Board of Directors for 19 years, including a stint as board President. He is currently chairman for the organization’s capital campaign to build a new $5 million dollar facility in Greeneville. Daniel Was also awarded The Greeneville Sun- Youth Builders Overall Top Volunteer Spirit Award for 2020 for his many years of service to the Boys & Girls Club, other organizations and his church throughout the years. Johnson is also a Tennessee State Board member of the Year award winner for the Tennessee Boys & Girls Clubs Tennessee Alliance that serves almost 100 locations throughout Tennessee.
